Limescale inhibitor Cartridges use Polyphosphate media which reacts with soluble minerals (iron, magnesium, calcium etc..) effectively keeping them soluble, reducing the risk of discolouration, scaling (chalky powder) and other issues related to the presence of these minerals in your water.
